Wingfire Koru™

Set in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, Wingfire Koru is an epic space shooter inspired by your old-school arcade favorites. But unlike other entries from the genre, Wingfire features a number of unique strategic elements to give it a fresh twist.

As pilot of the advance ship Wingfire Koru, you begin with modest weaponry and defensive capabilities communicated via heads-up display. During the early stages of the game defensive maneuvering is critical to your survival, as once the shields are breached your hull sustains damage at an alarming rate.

Your battle class ship features two wing-mounted cannons and a center mounted armament bay capable of deploying everything from plasma bursts to particle bombs.

As you patrol the space lanes, be on the lookout for enemy transports. When destroyed, transports release cargo pods that can be added to your ship's storage. This cargo can then exchanged for repairs and upgrades at any one of ten different moon colonies, each featuring its own assortment of weapons.

Needless to say, the plunder of their valuable cargo will not go unchallenged by the many alien races you encounter. Behind the attack waves is a series of ever more difficult bosses, each with its own special abilities.
