Air Command

Named by the International Association of Gaming, Animation and Multimedia as the 'Best Game for Handheld Devices', Air Command is a side-scrolling arcade-style game that finds the player maneuvering their helicopter through a mountain tunnel of ever increasing danger.

Initially the challenge consists of avoiding tunnel walls and other stationary obstacles, but as the player progresses, obstacles float into the playfield from above and below. Deeper into the tunnel, enemy aircraft appear, as the challenge extends to avoiding hostile missiles while removing the opposition.

The entire game is controlled by a single button, as the copter climbs and dives with remarkable precision and feel. In addition, the tunnel and obstacle layouts are randomly generated for each play session, leading to endless replayability.

Players can challenge their friends to head-to-head play on the same handset, as the high score table determines bragging rights once and for all.
